If the call goes to voicemail, leave your name, suburb and the room you want renovated, and we will call you back.
Helpful details to include
- Suburb — Hornsby, Waitara, Asquith, Normanhurst, Pennant Hills, Berowra or nearby
- Which room — main bathroom, ensuite, powder room, laundry or a combination
- House or unit. For a unit, mention whether you have spoken to the strata manager yet
- Roughly when the house was built. Even "about 1965" helps with asbestos and pipework planning
- Floor level. Ground floor, upstairs, over a garage, or on a half-level of a split-level
- Access. Steep driveway, long stairs, a lift, or limited parking
- The main problem. Leaks, mould, not enough space, or simply dated
- Photos of the room, including the ceiling and any damp or damaged areas
Why we measure first
Bathrooms in older Hornsby Shire homes vary too much to price blind. Two rooms the same size can differ by thousands of dollars depending on the floor structure, the wall linings, the pipework and whether a bath has to be carried down forty steps.
The measure takes around thirty to forty-five minutes and costs nothing. You will be asked some questions about how the room is used, and you are welcome to ask as many as you like in return, including for licence and insurance details.
After the measure
- A written, itemised quote listing fittings, allowances, inclusions and exclusions
- Time to compare it with other quotes — there is no pressure to sign on the day
- Selections finalised before a start date is booked
- Approvals arranged where needed, such as strata
- A program in working days, including the waterproofing cure
Before you call
The 2026 cost guide gives price bands so the quote is not a shock, and the FAQ covers asbestos, strata, bushfire-prone land and approvals.
